Dear Parishioners,
We are reaching out to invite you to support our Cru Catholics at the University of Mary Hardin-Baylor (UMHB) by providing meals for their weekly gatherings this Fall 2024 semester. This is a wonderful opportunity to serve our young adults and be part of their faith journey by offering them the nourishment they need as they come together for fellowship and spiritual growth. We are seeking volunteers to provide meals on any of these dates. Whether it's a homemade dish or a catered meal, your generosity will be greatly appreciated by the students. If you are interested in volunteering or have any questions, please contact Mary Arriola @miaj6132000@yahoo.com to sign up for a date. Thank you for your continued support of our parish ministries and for helping to nourish the faith of our college students!
August is National Make-A-Will Month, a time to be thoughtful stewards of God’s greatest gifts — our families, many blessings, and faith. Nearly two-thirds of American adults don’t have a will, and we want to empower 100% of our parishioners at Christ the King to prayerfully plan for their future and protect their loved ones.
The Diocese of Austin offers an online will-writing tool to make the process of creating a will free for our parishioners at CTK. Log on to FreeWill.com/AustinDiocese to get started.
