Christ the King will not have confession or Mass on Tuesday, Jan. 30 through Thursday, Feb. 1. Instead, we will have a communion service at the usual Mass times. At this time, Friday's schedule for Mass and adoration remains unchanged.

The Year of the Family brings many opportunities to come to adoration and Mass. In addition to adoration on the first Friday of the month, we have added two new times to draw you and your family closer to the heart of Christ. For more information, click on the title above.

The National Prayer Vigil for Life is an all-night pro-life prayer vigil held on the eve of the March for Life on January 18. Christ the King invites you to join the U.S. bishops' annual pro-life novena January 18-26 via Facebook, email, text message or an app. Click on the above title for more details.

As we enter the flu season, the Diocese of Austin and Christ the King parish have increased attention to hygiene due to the flu and other infectious diseases. Click the above title for common sense practices and liturgical guidelines to keep Mass holy and healthy.

Starting on Feb. 11, high school confirmation classes will be held on Sundays at 3:15 p.m. in the LIfehouse. Sophomore students should be enrolled. For more information, click on the above title.

On Wednesday, Jan. 17th, Mass will be celebrated at 8 a.m. All classes will resume their regular schedule, including Religious Education, RCIA and bible studies. The parish office will open at 8:30 a.m.

Due to inclement weather, confession, Mass and all activities at Christ the King are cancelled on Tuesday, Jan. 16th. We will continue to monitor the weather to make a determination about the status of Mass and other activities scheduled for Wednesday. Check back here for updates.

The Parish Office will be closed on Tuesday, Jan. 16th for a planning meeting. The office will re-open on Wednesday, Jan. 17th at 8:30 a.m.

Or, do you just want to learn more about the Catholic faith? Christ the King is hosting an eight-week class beginning Thursday, Feb. 15th at 7 p.m. in the Christus Center.
