Dear Brothers and Sisters in Christ: To commemorate the 75th anniversary of the Diocese of Austin, I commissioned this beautiful book. I hope you will enjoy reading the history and
reflecting on the many images of faith communities throughout this diocese. To those who came before us, we are grateful for their sacrifices and generosity and, above all, their love of Christ which is the foundation on which we stand today. During this anniversary year and through the intercession of our patroness, Mary Immaculate, may our relationship with her Son, Jesus Christ, grow ever stronger. Let us celebrate our past as we continue to build the legacy of this local church for future generations.
