UPDATE FROM FR. SANG QUAN September 17, 2020 Dear Brothers and Sisters in Christ,
As COVID-19 continues to be of concern, we are making the following adjustments to parish activities during this time:
The parish office will remain open during our normal business hours.
To the extent possible, we ask that you conduct business with the parish office by phone or e-mail.
If you must visit the office, please wear a mask and observe social distancing at all times.
Some ministry activities have resumed where social distancing guidelines can be implemented.
The dispensation to attend Mass continues for those who are showing symptoms of COVID-19, those who have an underlying health condition making them vulnerable, or those who live with or care for anyone in the previous two categories. We encourage everyone else to return to Mass. We will continue to livestream Masses on Sundays at 8 a.m. (Spanish) and 10:30 a.m. (English). As directed by Bishop Vasquez, our livestreamed Masses will not remain on Facebook after they end. This is in accordance with our responsibility to cultivate the ecclesiological character of the liturgy by gathering the assembly in the church and online at the same time. You can read the latest COVID-19 protocols issued by the Diocese of Austin
HERE (English) and
HERE (Spanish).
Join me in prayer for protection during this pandemic, that our Blessed Mother will intercede for us with her Son Jesus, the Divine Physician, for those who have fallen ill, for those who are vulnerable, and for those who have died. We also ask for her intercession for those charged with protecting the health and safety of others and for those who are tending to the sick and seeking a cure.
Yours in Christ,
Fr. Sang Quan, Pastor
