Blessing of the Backpacks

Christ the King will have a backpack blessing at each Mass on Aug. 18th and 19th. Children are invited to bring their school backpacks to Mass. They will receive a special blessing and a backpack pin. We want them to know their lives are important to the Church, and that God is with them at school and always.
