Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary

Celebrated every year on August 15th, the Feast of the Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary commemorates the death of Mary and her bodily assumption into heaven, before her body could begin to decay; a foretaste of our own bodily resurrection at the end of time. The worship schedule for this holy day of obligation is as follows:

Tuesday, August 14th
6:30 p.m. Vigil Mass
(no confession)
Wednesday, August 15th
8 a.m. Mass
5:45 p.m. Rosary
6:30 p.m. Mass

The parish office will be closed on Wednesday, August 15th.
