The Catholic faith is a gift from God. Indeed, we are truly blessed to know and love Jesus as a member of the Church. Being a Catholic is no ordinary blessing, it is an extraordinary gift! The Rite of Christian Initiation for Adults (RCIA) is the initiation process for adults who are interested in becoming Catholic. It is for those who have never been baptized or who were baptized in a non-Catholic faith and now wish to join the Catholic Church. The RCIA is a step-by-step process in which discerning individuals explore the beliefs and traditions of the Catholic Church over a period of several months. These classes begin September 6, at 6:30 pm in Room 208. If you would like more information contact the Director of Faith and Formation, Krissie Lastovica, at klastovica@ctkbelton.org or at (254)939-0806.

Holy Hour for Vocations is June 10 For the first time in 20 years, the Diocese of Austin will not celebrate a priestly ordination. To raise awareness of the need for vocations and to gather our prayers into one, Bishop Vásquez will host a Diocesan Holy Hour for Vocations on June 10 – the day that we would ordinarily celebrate a priestly ordination. This event will be in English and Spanish, and it will be interpreted for the deaf and hearing impaired. It will take place at St. Louis King of France Parish in Austin from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Come to the event, spread the word, and personally invite other parishioners, so that we can pray for vocations with one voice.
